This policy explains what information we collect when you visit carrytheweightbook.com, submit one of our forms, or respond to one of our LinkedIn ads, how we use that information, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, through the following:
- Contact and booking inquiries. Your name, email address, company or organization, the reason for your inquiry, and any message you include.
- Email sign-ups. Your email address, when you join the launch list or the newsletter.
- The leadership gut check. Your email address, if you choose to receive your result, along with your quiz answers, which reader type best describes you, and which frameworks your answers pointed to.
- LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms. If you submit a form through one of our ads on LinkedIn, LinkedIn shares the information you provided in that form, typically your name, email address, and any other fields the form requested, directly with us.
We also collect limited technical information automatically through Google Analytics, including which pages you visit, general location at the city or region level, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry or booking request
- To send the content you signed up for, including a newsletter issue, launch updates, or your gut check result
- To follow up about fractional, full-time, advisory, or training engagements when you've expressed interest in one
- To understand which pages and content are useful, using aggregated, anonymized analytics
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Who We Share It With
Your information passes through the services we use to run this site, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:
- Formspree, which delivers form submissions from this site to our email
- Google Analytics, which provides anonymized traffic and usage data
- LinkedIn, when you submit a Lead Gen Form through one of our ads on their platform
Each of these providers maintains its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.
Cookies and Tracking
This site uses Google Analytics, which places cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using your browser settings or publicly available opt-out tools.
Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from any email list at any time using the link included in that email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you, email teixidorj@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
